Dan Lawyer is Vice President of Product at Ancestry, the global leader in family history and consumer genomics, and oversees the Ancestry.com product teams. Lawyer is an expert in business strategy, execution, and product management. He has more than 25 years of experience delivering solutions across social, web, mobile, SaaS, and traditional software environments in both business and consumer focused markets. Lawyer loves the fast pace and creativity required to grow and lead the product team for a company experiencing hyper-growth. Prior to joining Ancestry, Dan headed up business and product operations for Adobe’s Analytics and Social businesses.
Kate works on surveillance issues for EFF’s Activism Team. Previously, she covered technology policy in Washington, D.C. including writing about privacy, net neutrality, internet governance, and intellectual property.
Originally from New York, Kate graduated from Hamilton College with a BA in Public Policy.

Mr. Leach partners with Council representatives, Participating Organizations and industry leaders to develop comprehensive standards and strategies to secure payment card data and the supporting infrastructure. He is a congressional subject matter expert on payment security and the current chairman of the Council’s Standards Committee. Prior to joining the Council, Mr. Leach held various positions in IT management, software development, systems administration, network engineering, security assessment, forensic analytics and incident response for data compromise. Mr. Leach holds a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications and Network Management as well as a graduate degree in Information Security Management from Syracuse University.
